A LINE OF SEVERE STORMS MOVED THROUGH WESTERN WILSON COUNTY
DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF SATURDAY...MAY 25TH.  ONE
STORM PRODUCED A BRIEF TORNADO NEAR LA VERNIA.

SURVEY_SUMMARY: THE BRIEF TORNADO AFFECTED A DOZEN HOMES AND 
ALUMINUM CARPORTS IN THE COUNTRY GARDEN AND WOODCREEK 
COMMUNITIES OF LA VERNIA.  THE BRIEF TORNADO FORMED IN AN OPEN
FIELD NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF WOODCREEK DRIVE AND BLUFF CREEK
ROAD IN THE WOODCREEK COMMUNITY.  THE TORNADO THEN TRAVELED 
NORTH BEFORE DISSIPATING.  STRAIGHT-LINE WINDS FROM THE SAME 
STORM PRODUCED ADDITIONAL DAMAGE FURTHER NORTH ALONG COUNTRY 
GARDENS ROAD...BUT DAMAGE ENDED JUST SHORT OF BLUEBONNET ROAD 
(FM 775).
