THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE PA HAS CONFIRMED A
TORNADO IN HOMER TOWNSHIP IN POTTER COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA ON JULY 27
2013.

AN EF1 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ALONG BIG MOORES RUN ROAD IN HOMER
TOWNSHIP. THE TORNADO TRACKED NORTHWARD ALONG BIG MOORES RUN
ROAD...PRODUCING INTERMITTENT DAMAGE FOR A COUPLE OF MILES BEFORE
MAKING A SLIGHT TURN TO THE RIGHT. THE LAST OBSERVED DAMAGE WAS
FOUND ALONG FIRST FORK ROAD ABOUT ONE MILE SOUTH OF AYERS HILL.
OVERALL...AROUND 100 TREES WERE DOWNED ALONG THE PATH OF THE
TORNADO AND TWO STRUCTURES WERE DAMAGED BY FALLING TREES.
