A WEAK EF0 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN 3.5 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF TURPIN, 
OK ON WEDNESDAY EVENING, AUGUST 7. A SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORM SPAWNED 
THE TORNADO, WHICH LASTED FOR 6 MINUTES BUT PRODUCED NO DAMAGE. THIS 
WAS ONLY THE 33RD AUGUST TORNADO RECORDED SINCE 1950 IN THE 
PANHANDLES REGION.
