This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the area overnight tonight 
through Wednesday evening. Please refer to the National Weather 
Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for further details. 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the area overnight tonight 
through Wednesday evening. Please refer to the National Weather 
Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for further details.

River flood warnings remain in effect for portions of the upper
Des Moines River Basin and Cedar River Basin. With additional snow
forecast late tonight into Wednesday and melting later this 
week, additional rivers within the aforementioned basins are 
likely to swell and possibly flood by the weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters activation is not needed at this time. Snowfall and ice 
reports Wednesday would be appreciated.
