Many areas saw lows in the upper 50s to low 60s, quite a bit warmer than Saturday morning. Along with those clouds were areas of sprinkles to light rain, but struggled to make it too far east of Interstate 35 this morning. All in all, it was enough to get the ground wet in most places. By late this morning, temperatures were highly dependent on cloud cover and rain. Areas with clouds and rain were only a few degrees warmer than morning lows, while areas with thinner clouds or seeing sunshine, had risen into the low 70s. Temperatures will remain comfortable today, but will begin to rise back into warm and hot territory to start the week. Highs by Tuesday will reach into the mid and upper 80s from Highway 30 on south. Fortunately it does not look to get any warmer from there as a weak front will move through with some rain chances and drop highs back a few degrees into the low to mid 80s to finish the week. While there are some chances for a few scattered showers and storms Monday and Tuesday, the best opportunity for widespread rainfall will be Tuesday night through Wednesday. $$ CURTIS
