The featured station plot this morning shows the surface low pressure system in Iowa with its counter-clockwise flow circulating around it.  This system will slowly pull east with colder air working into the state and chances of snow!  Better bundle up if you are coming to Ames for <a href="http://www.veishea.iastate.edu/">VEISHEA</a> this weekend.
