A plot of recent high and low temperatures for Ames shows a mostly below average stretch with highs in the 40s, whereas we should be in the 50s.  Friday and Saturday will be warmer, but another storm system is set for Sunday with another chance of rain turning to snow.  The overall forecast trend is for warmer weather, yes please!
