Our weather pattern is ready to become very active with numerous storm systems forecasted to bring heavy rain to Iowa this weekend and into Monday. The <a href="http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/qpf/day1-5.shtml">Hydrometeorological Prediction Center</a> has much of Iowa forecasted to receive over 2 inches over the next 5 days. This will set the fall harvest back a week or more with fields too wet to run machinery on.
