A cold front is transversing the state this morning with gusty winds behind it.  The featured image is <a href="http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/graphical/sectors/uppermissvly.php">forecasted winds</a> from the NWS for 3 PM this evening showing sustained speeds over 20 mph.  High pressure will settle in behind the front with the next storm system set to impact our area on Saturday.  Currently, a significant winter storm appears to be likely.
