The IEM gave its annual talk at the ISU Meteorology Seminar 
series today.  The Powerpoint can be found at the above 
address.  There are two movies shown in the powerpoint also

The coldest air yet this fall has spilled into Iowa this morning with temperatures in the single digits in places like Esterville (EST) and Mason City (MCW).  The featured map plots the wind chill temperature at 7 AM this morning showing some locations well below zero!  The coldest air won't make it thru the state with Southern Iowa warming nicely into the 40s.  Northern Iowa will be stuck in the 20s today.
