The climodat reports are one of the most popular products 
available on the IEM.  While the reports are handy, they are 
not the most portable to other applications.  In the past, I have
made attempts to make the reports formatted in a strict 
columnar format for easy import into Excel.  Unfortunately, it
isn't that easy for most users to do.

So now I have created an on-line tool to convert the text reports
into Excel files on demand.  You can save any of the reports you
see in Excel format for direct viewing on your computer.  The text
formatted files remain the default for website display.

Please let me know if you see any reports that don't look quite
right in Excel.

A rather intense snowband brought around 4 inches to a swipe of Iowa from Des Moines to Waterloo with much lighter amounts to the north and south last Wednesday.  The featured image shows snowfall reports from the <a href="http://iowa.cocorahs.org">CoCoRaHS</a> observers. The snow has already melted and our next chance of snowfall appears to come next weekend.
