The featured chart is a summary of NWS isssued warnings nationwide by day of the week.  It is interesting to see how relatively quiet Mondays have been this year in comparison to other days of the week.  Values for 2006 show that eventually the numbers even out.  Parts of the Upper Midwest will see severe weather today with the primary threat in Iowa being large hail and gusty winds.
