Even with all of the excess water covering the ground in Iowa, temperatures soared into the upper 80s and lower 90s on Sunday. Hot temperatures, dry air, and breezy conditions created nearly ideal conditions to help dry out the fields that farmers desperately need to enter.  Today looks to be nearly a repeat of Sunday with highs near 90 and some thunderstorms over Northeastern Iowa.
