Thunderstorms errupted over the western plains on Wednesday producing over 60 reports of tornadoes and more than 160 hail reports! The featured map is from the <a href="http://www.spc.noaa.gov">Storm Prediction Center</a> showing the locations of these reports in a rather narrow north/south line It will take a few days to sort out exactly how many unique tornadoes there were as storm surveys are completed.
