The Newton web camera has been relocated to the new Speedway in
Newton with a great view of the western sky and grandstands.

The featured image is of average 4 inch soil temperatures for yesterday from the ISUAG network.  Not only have air temperatures been above normal, but soil temperatures have been as well.  Current values are plenty warm enough to support corn seeds, but it is doubtful it will stay this warm thru late May as we should expect a few more cold snaps.  After all, spring has just begun!
