Thunderstorms have returned to Iowa thanks to a week frontal boundary that is currently dividing the state in half from southwest to northeast.   Temperatures will be slightly cooler today with much cooler temperatures in the forecast on Wednesday with the passage of a much stronger front.  Most parts of the state need rainfall as the corn crop is at a vital stage of pollination.
