Snowfall reports this morning indicate upwards of 4 inches of new snow has fallen with 8 AM RADAR (shown) indicating the heaviest band just southeast of Des Moines over to Dubuque. This area can probably expect another couple of inches arriving at a storm total around 6 inches.  This storm system will slide east today with very cold air set to arrive this evening.
