What a powerful storm! The featured image (click it for a better view) maps storm reports for this past weekend. Just about every type of severe weather can be found on the map with strong winds in Texas causing a dust storm, violent tornados in Arkansas, strong winds and snow producing blizzard conditions in Kansas, heavy snow in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and an ice storm in Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana. Whew! For Iowa, the snow and ice has produced power outages with considerable tree damage. Unfortunately another storm is set to impact the region later this week.
