Known Issues:

  • These numbers are not official and there is missing data in this dataset.
  • Vinton (VTI), Pella (PEA), Monticello (MXO), Mount Pleasant (MPZ), and Independence (IIB) do not have a precipitation sensor, so their totals are 0.
  • Precipitation amounts during the cold season are not accurate.
  • Decorah's (DEH) rainfall counter was resetting at :45 after the hour instead of :55 after. This was accounted for in the dataset. It was fixed sometime in late May.
